Separate overall ATS quality from scheduling depth. ATSLab’s Index ranks Breezy HR first overall, but Greenhouse is stronger if your main problem is panels, interviewer limits, self-scheduling and replacement of declined interviewers. The trade-off is custom pricing and more implementation work.
Check the plan, not the feature name. Breezy HR’s $157/month Startup plan includes interview self-scheduling, email/calendar integration, one-way video and video interviews. Same-day multi-interview scheduling in one flow is Business/Pro only, and SMS reminders need a paid SMS add-on.
Stress-test a real panel day. Ask each vendor to schedule a candidate through availability collection, interviewer selection, video links, buffers, scorecards and rescheduling. A tidy demo is not enough if coordinators still rebuild panels by hand.
Watch add-ons and usage costs. Ashby starts at $400/month for Foundations, but Advanced Scheduling and AI Notetaker are add-ons, and SSO on Foundations is listed at $100/month. Workable’s AI credits are usage-based, and its trial excludes Workable Agent.
Match scheduling depth to hiring volume. Zoho Recruit has a Free plan, but the 1-active-job limit makes it a light-hiring choice. GoHire starts at $99/month with unlimited users, but verify advanced scheduling workflows before choosing it mainly for coordination.
