Separate agency CRM from candidate CRM before comparing tools. Manatal’s CRM is built around leads, clients, placements and revenue tracking, which suits recruiting agencies. Lever is closer to candidate relationship management for sourcing, nurturing and hiring at scale, but its pricing is quote-only.
Do the active-job maths before the demo. Manatal Professional starts at $15/user/month annually, but supports up to 15 jobs per account. Zoho Recruit Corporate HR Standard is $25/recruiter/month annually with 10 active jobs per recruiter, while Staffing Agency Standard includes 100 active jobs.
Check the edition, not just the logo. Zoho Recruit has separate Corporate HR and Staffing Agency editions, and Manatal’s client CRM tools are for Recruitment Agency accounts rather than Company or Corporate accounts. Pick the wrong edition and the CRM may not match the work.
Treat free trials as workflow tests, not proof that every feature is included. Manatal offers a 14-day trial with no credit card, but excludes job-board posting, mass emailing, email automations, AI-generated job descriptions and the GDPR consent-request tool. Zoho Recruit’s 15-day trial gives access to Enterprise features, then moves to the Free Plan.
Price job-board spend outside the ATS fee. Indeed Sponsored Jobs start at $5/day or $150/month, though pricing can rise by role, title and location. Charges may be generated by clicks on sponsored posts or clicks to start an application, and regulatory fees of up to 3% may apply in certain countries from 2026.
Ask for add-on pricing early. Zoho publishes specific add-on prices for items such as webhooks, workflow alerts, mass mail, extra jobs, video interviews, portals and storage. Manatal names add-ons without publishing every price, and Lever requires a quote for the core subscription.
